Users now have a 3D GIS environment that smoothly integrates with the web.
Some examples:
Copy/ Paste Views
All geospatial applications running within Geoweb3d, whether a 3D view, a web page, or ArcGIS (if applicable) can share a common view position. Users can copy and paste this view so as to reference the identical geographic location in many different applications.
3D view co-located in Bing, Streetview, and Google Maps
Google streetview presents the ground level photos, bing has high resolution oblique photos, a google map, and so forth. Users can create or verify a dataset for an area with great detail.

Overlays
Vector point features can be displayed as map markers and raster dataset extents as polygons.
Bookmarks and Projects
Users can save and recall bookmarks as with any web browser. When a project file is created or modified, each of the open web tabs at the time is saved. When the project is loaded, each tab and associated URL is opened automatically providing for easy and effective web integration.
Interoperability with GIS, WebGIS, the Web, and the Geoweb
Most of the geospatial industries and applications have a web connection – whether enterprise, services, data, collaboration, tool for interoperability, or another. Geospatial content and geo aware applications continue to grow with increasing search and discovery capabilities.
Security
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3) and Transport Layer Security (TLS v1) protocols are supported.
Data Discovery and GeoSearch
Geoweb3d continues to advance its geo-search and discovery capabilities. Geoweb3d will continuously make it easier to find and incorporate GIS data from the web and will make these capabilities available in future releases.
