Embedded ArcGIS Engine
Integrating ArcGIS Engine directly into the Desktop product makes it easy for ESRI users to begin using the new, GPU based, 3D visualization and analysis capabilities available today. If an ArcGIS license is present on the machine running the application, users can open an ArcGIS tab to load, navigate, edit, and integrate their map document into the 3D environment.
Load an Mxd or Geodatabase
Load your existing ArcGIS Map Documents (.mxd) directly into Geoweb3d and use the same user interface controls you’re used to in ArcGIS Desktop. Supported layers from the MXD are available in the Table of Contents for use within the 3D environment. Controls for navigation, querying, and editing are provided.
Geoweb3d supports the loading of vector data from both a personal and file geodatabase.

Editing
Users can edit the layers of an mxd from within the ArcGIS tab. This is useful for data creation, validation, and correction.
The auto correlation of views across the various 3D, Web, and ArcGIS tabs benefits editing. Any location can be quicklyco-located in an assortment of web mapping applications such as Google Maps, Bing, and Streetview. Based on results, layers in the mxd can be adjusted for positional and attribution accuracy and completeness.
ESRI Licensing
Users without an ArcGIS license will be unable to load data from a file geodatabase or open an ArcGIS tab. Any level of ESRI licensing on the machine running Geoweb3d will enable the ArcGIS features.
ArcGIS Engine Runtime licenses are only available from ESRI, ESRI distributors, or authorized resellers. For additional information, contact your local ESRI office.
