I/ITSEC '09 (The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference) will take place in the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida from Monday, November 30th to Thursday, December 3, 2009.

Geoweb3d will be in the ESRI booth showcasing the Geoweb3d Desktop product to the Training & Simulation community as well as participating with ESRI, AGI, and others partners in the Monterey Cross Defense interoperability exercise.

Geoweb3d is a high-fidelity 3D visualization tool that allows users to author detailed 3D scenes in minutes, directly from source GIS data.  It can load any local, enterprise, or web-accessible GIS source data and use it instantly to produce rich, accurate, and high-performance 3D visualizations.  No data reformatting, reprojection, thinning or manipulation of any kind is required.

Geoweb3d offers advanced capabilities and significant cost savings to the Defense training market. The Training and Simulation community continues to preprocess native GIS datasets in support of 3D visualization and analysis.  These offline toolsets are usually required to reduce content, perform optimizations, and generally work around the performance and format challenges of high resolution native data.

Geoweb3d requires no data pre-processing, supporting on-the-fly visualization of any combination of GIS file formats, 3D model formats, and geographic coordinate systems.  Data in any coordinate system, both raster and vector, are reprojected on the fly.  Commercial, government, web, and live collected data can be fused at runtime into a single coherent and interactive 3d environment.

The high-fidelity visualization is generated exclusively at runtime, directly from any variety of disparate data sources.  This means that as data changes over time, the visualization will stay true to the data with no additional labor required.  Native ESRI ArcGIS integration allows users to view ESRI map documents and geodatabases seamlessly within the Geoweb3d environment.  An embedded web browser allows users to directly leverage the momentum of Web GIS, correlating views and sharing data with web-based maps and applications.
